PAYMENT METHODS
Scootercatalog.com accepts various
forms of payment in US currency. We accept Credit Cards, Paypal,
Wire Transfer, and Pre-payment with Checks or Money Orders. Currently we do not accept
COD payment.
CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express through the Yahoo
checkout process or by phone. We also accept Discover through Paypal checkout. There is No "surcharges"
of any kind for credit card payments. We prefer that orders placed by credit
card be shipped to billing address associated with the credit card, but you may
choose to enter a different shipping address if the billing address entered is
correct. Scootercatalog.com does
not condone credit card fraud and will aggressively involve law enforcement in any
fraud cases detected.
PAYPAL: We accept Paypal payments through our shopping cart. You can make a regular Paypal payment to
sales@Scootercatalog.com or
use checkout with Paypal to pay with credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American
Express and Discover).
CHECK/MONEY ORDER: We accept Pre-payment with cashier's check,
personal or company checks, and money orders. We recommend that you place the order
online, and then select "Check/Money Order " as the payment method. After you get
an order number and total amount of your order, you can print or make reference to the order
number and mail payment to the address below for the exact amount to us. Alternatively you can print this Order Form (in MS Word) and mail together with your payment. We will ship your products within
1-2 business days after the check is cleared. Note: Orders via Check/Money order are not confirmed until payment is received. Personal and Company checks are accepted, but items will not be shipped until checks are cleared by the
bank. If we do not receive your payment in 10 business days, we will consider any pending orders cancelled.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
No Sales tax will be charged on orders shipped outside the state of Texas, USA.
Sales Tax and Shipping
Your
order will be shipped same day or the following business day, and when
not possible we shall notify you of the delay via email and the expected
shipping time. Most items are shipped Ground via Fedex, DHL, UPS or other
carrier with online tracking system. If your shipment has a tracking number
it will be emailed to you so that you may track it online 24/7. Shipments
send via USPS will not have a tracking number but where a delivery
confirmation number is available, it will be emailed to you. After the
product leaves the warehouse, standard Worldwide shipping times apply,
which, depend on your location and the volume being handled by the carrier
at the time.
What about shipping costs?
Shipping costs are based on the costs charged to us by the carrier (shipping & handling company) but we regularly do extend
free ground shipping on promotional basis. Please note shipping charges are not refundable and any free shipping extended will be deducted incase customer cancels or returns product for any reason.
When should I expect delivery?
Most of our products
leave the warehouse on the same or the following business day after you order. During exceptional
heavy shopping seasons, it may take up to two days to leave the warehouse.
After the product leaves the warehouse, standard Worldwide shipping times
apply, which, depend on your location and the volume being handled by the
carrier at the time.
What about overnight delivery?
Overnight and second and third
day shipping will be available for an additional shipping charge.
How secure is my credit card
information?
When you buy from
our online store, your credit card information is processed by
secure eCommerce servers run by Yahoo.com in real time through the Bank and your credit card issuer. Then your order is encrypted with

encryption before being transmitted. Rest assured, all your card

What if I want to return
Something?
Return Policy:
Electric scooters- Please see a different return policy on
X-treme electric scooters We accept return of manufacturer defect
products on an exchange basis, and only where the product is not used and is
not repairable.
All products received in a defective condition must be returned within 14 days
of receipt. If the product has been assembled and used, it is
not returnable but will be covered by the applicable warranty agreement. If the package is opened and the motorized vehicle is defective (never starts NB:only applies to
Electric scooters and not Gas scooters) you may return it for exchange
only. If item is in a used condition a 30% Restocking fee will apply plus any other repair charges.
Gas Scooters -We do not have a return policy on gas scooters - No returns accepted.
Scooter Parts-
We will not accept scooter parts return unless in the circumstances where by our own mistake we shipped the wrong item or item is found to be defective upon arrival.
For Return authorization - Where item cannot be repaired, please send an
E-mail message
/ X-treme scooters stating the reason why you would like to return the scooter and we shall issue you with a RMA#(Return Merchandise Authorization Number) which you will use to label the return package and for future reference. Any returns without RMA will be charged a 19% restocking fees (upto 50% on used items).
Note: In all return and exchange circumstances, the customer is responsible for all shipping & handling costs. We cannot normally credit original shipping costs, and just as a retail store cannot credit you for gas costs while driving back to their store, scootercatalog.com can not credit return shipping under any circumstances
Shipping damages- All products including scooters and other vehicles are sent in brand new condition with original factory packaging that have been inspected for damage before shipping. Therefore we are not responsible for shipping damages. If
you happen to accept item that has been damaged by shipping carrier while in transit,
you (buyer) must contact carrier to file and receive a claim number within three days of receipt. Only at that time can we assist you with
following up the claim and receiving compensation from the carrier. Please do not ship damaged items back to us without contacting the carrier (courier or trucking company) to initiate a damage claim.

Regular scooters come with a 30 day limited manufacturer's warranty that
cover parts replacement.
The parts warranty covers:
-Replaceable parts EXCEPT all the following, plastic parts (including color-coordinated
housings); wear-and-tear items such as brakes, brake handles, tires, seats,
lights and toggle switches; and damage to the engine (motor) or any other part due
to abuse or misuse.
-Technical support via phone or e-mail from professional scooter experts.
-Labor for the removal and replacement of part(s), only if that occurs at our
service center.
This warranty is effective only if the product is used under normal
conditions for its intended purpose and the product receives all necessary
maintenance and adjustments. (We reserve the right to determine what damage
is due to defective materials and what is due to product abuse or misuse.)
We shall not be responsible for any losses to the customer as a result of the
failure of any part, including incidental or consequential loss or damage
arising from injury, loss of use, loss of time, rental vehicles, loss of
profits, or loss of income. There are no agreements or warranties, expressed
or implied including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose, other than those stated in this agreement. This warranty
extends only to the original customer and is non-transferable.
How the warranty works:
If a covered part breaks while the scooter is under the warranty, you must
contact us to file a warranty service claim. A customer service representative will
give you the address of our customer service center and instructions on how
to ship to us the broken part. You must pay for the shipment of the broken part
to our service center via UPS , FedEx or any other traceable means. When we
receive the broken part, we will ship you a replacement part free of charge.
Under the warranty, we will provide any labor needed for the removal and
replacement of the broken scooter part. However when you file a warranty
claim, you must pay to ship the scooter to and from our customer service center. You must
pay for the shipment of your scooter or part to our customer service center and include a sufficient freight ($49 for
two wheel electric scooters) money order or cashier's
check to pay for return shipment. You are responsible for any damages that may occur in
shipping; therefore, we highly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for your
scooter. When we receive your scooter, our technicians will inspect the
scooter to determine if any damage has occurred during shipping. We are not
responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping.
NOTE: Used gas scooters and gasoline-related parts cannot be shipped back to
our service center. Gas scooters that have been ridden in any way or gas
scooter parts that have contained gasoline cannot be mailed. Gasoline is a
hazardous, flammable material and anyone who sends it via the mail may be
subject to fines and/or imprisonment.
Our customer service center is able to provide you with repair
services after your warranty has expired or on non-warranted parts; however,
you must pay for the cost of all parts, $25 per hour for labor and
round-trip shipping to and from our service center, including the cost of
shipping insurance in form of money order or cashier's check for return
shipping.

Warranty exclusions
This warranty does not cover failures caused by the following factors: Accident or collision damage; Abnormal Strain, neglect, or abuse; Improper assembly of parts; Modifications, Improper maintenance or use, such as: Competition or racing, Concession or rental.
This warranty also does not apply to normal wear and tear items, including but not limited to: the tires, centrifugal clutch, brake lining, throttle cable, chains, belts, seats, chargers, fasteners, or decals.

Although there are no uniform legal age restrictions for the use of motorized scooters, the Seller recommends that only individuals of legal age use any of the scooters sold by us. The Seller also recommend that any minors only use motorized scooters and other products sold under adult supervision and under the guardian's own discretion. Purchasers should check with their local authorities for area specific rules and regulations before purchasing. Adult guardian assumes all responsibilities associated with the use of these products by minors. Customers understand that the use of these products can cause injury or death to themselves or others. To reduce the risks of any such injuries the Seller strongly recommends the use of the safety equipment such as an ANSI or Snell approved helmet and knee pads. The Buyer holds our company and its agents and affiliates harmless from any liability arising out of or relating to the use or ownership of any product. Buyer must obtain her/his own insurance. The Seller assumes no suitability of any of these products which will vary dependent on, among other things, the Buyer's size, age and other factors largely dependent on personal discretion of Purchaser.
